Curriculum vitae

From 2018 to 2022, Gianluca Simone completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. He then specialized in High-Frequency and Communication Engineering during his Master’s studies at the same university, which he completed in 2024. He conducted his Master’s thesis on the “AI-based optimization of a D-band transformer” at Fraunhofer EMFT in Munich. Since January 2025, he has been working as a research associate at the Institute for Smart Electronics and Systems in the Radio Frequency Integrated Systems (RFIS) team at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg.
